Dear Terra friends-
I hope your summer is filled with fun, joy, and sunshine.
A couple of weeks ago, I found out that I won't be able to renew the contract on Terra's current space. I'll be moving out in October and closing down Terra. For good this time. I have no plan to look for a new space and reopen a studio in the foreseeable future. It is not a decision that I have made lightly, but it's a decision that feels right at this time in my life, despite how sad it makes me. Sometimes, the right step is the painful one.
I am thinking of offering several small in-person classes at the end of August, if there's interest and it is safe to do so, before I start taking apart the studio.
What happens with my teaching in the long run depends on many things which I am in the process of figuring out, including how much space teaching yoga can and will still have in my life. I don't have the answer to that yet. I am feeling my way through this new studio-free landscape and exploring what I want to create next.
I am considering offering weekly online classes this autumn, but I haven't made any definite plan yet. My apologies for being uncertain. I just really don't know what I want to do next with yoga. And I keep reminding myself that I don't need to decide until I need to decide. I will of course keep you informed! But I wanted to let you know what's happening (or rather not happening) so that you have time to sign up for memberships and courses at other places if you wish.
Also, I will be selling most of the furniture and equipment. I will set up a webpage with all the information in the coming weeks. If you are interested in anything, you can already let me know.
Thank you again for your trust and support over the years and for being part of Terra. No matter what happens next, I will cherish these moments we spent together.
