Today we celebrated Guru Purnima at Nepal Yoga Academy. Guru Purnima holds a special place in our hearts and culture. On this auspicious day, we are delighted to honor our teachers who hold hands of many seekers.

The word Guru is made up of two words “gu” and “ru”. In Sanskrit language, “gu” means darkness and “ru” means dispeller. Guru is someone who helps to dispel darkness in your life. We panic when we embark the journey of moving from darkness to light because we are used to the comfort of darkness. That’s when we need Guru the most. Those who find Guru are the fortunate ones.

We would like to thank our students for their enthusiasm in today’s celebration. Your devotion fuels us to work with sincerity.
