Swarga Children's Home (SCH)

Literary translation of Swarga is a “Heaven”. The general impression of human beings about “the heaven” is a very beautiful place with all the necessary facility, where everyone lives very happily. Where there are love and affection, Proper care and attention and harmonious relationship among each other are some general features of a heaven. We try to create a small heaven on this earth naming “Swarga Children's Home (SCH) where children with disabilities (CWDs) live by themselves. They are accepted in the way they are and motivate, encourage to become more self dependent through social and medical rehabilitation. We established this in 2006 with following the concept of Residential Based Rehabilitation (IBR) for the children with disabilities to make them self dependent. As per wishing objective of the foundation the home is protecting 23 children from different parts of the country. Among them Six are having burning amputation, Nine are cerebral palsy, Six from spina bifida and one with sacal syndrome and two with metabolic disease. As we can’t help everyone and has to make a choice which was not easy for us to make a decision that we help maximum 30 CWDs only though there are two percent of population of PWDs in Nepal. “We believe in Quality than quantity” and we want to establish it as one of a model home for CWDs with IBR concept so that likeminded organization can also follow and develop in other part of the country. We are always willing to share our knowledge and experience with you in the protection, promotion and for welfare of PWDs.

Charter Day Celebration – 4th Anniversary of Leo Club of Bhaktapur Real Tech
Today, we were very happy to celebrate the 4th Anniversary (Charter Day) of Leo Club of Bhaktapur Real Tech together with our children.
On this special day, they kindly provided food for Swarga and all our kids and also spent quality time with the children, sharing love, laughter, and joy.
We are truly thankful to the Leo Club family for their care, kindness, and continuous support for our differently-abled children.
Your presence and love made this day very special and memorable for our kids.

World Disability Day 2025
Today, on the occasion of World Disability Day, our local government organized a wonderful program to support and encourage persons with disabilities.
We are very grateful to receive warm jackets and protein supplies and testy lunch for every individual.
These thoughtful gifts will help keep our children warm, healthy, and happy during the winter season.

A big thank you to our local government team for their love, support, and commitment towards inclusion and dignity for all. 💙
