We successfully conducted an interactive session with the esteemed faculties and interns of 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗸𝗶 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲, focusing on the latest updates, advancements, and practical approaches in oncology.

The program highlighted the importance of early detection, evolving treatment modalities, and multidisciplinary patient care.

A big thank-you to all participants for their enthusiasm, thoughtful questions, and commitment to improving cancer care.

Together, we move forward toward better awareness, better practice, and better outcomes. 🎗️

Another achievement for our faculty members of KCC and a proud moment for all of us.
Our faculty member 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗵𝗮 has been listed in the prestigious Stanford University “𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟮% 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆” list 2025 for his contribution of research papers on cancer.

And on other hand, research paper completed by our team of doctors at KCC was published in the prestigious “Brachytherapy" Journal of 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗵𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆.

With these achievements we can be sure that there has been continuous research for its treatment of cancer in Nepal and it is now a preferred destination for cancer patients within Nepal.

विश्व मेडिकल फिजिक्स दिवस | नोभेम्बर ७

आज मेरी क्युरी को जन्मदिन हो। बिज्ञानका दुई फरक विषयमा दुई नोबेल पुरस्कार जित्ने विश्वकी एकमात्र व्यक्ति मेरी क्युरी केवल वैज्ञानिक मात्र होइनन्, उनी मेडिकल रेडियोलोजी युगको सुरुवात गर्ने प्रेरणा थिइन्।

उनले आफ्ना पति पियरे क्युरी सँग मिलेर रेडियम र प्राकृतिक रेडियो एक्टिभिटी पत्ता लगाइन्, जसले आज अस्पतालमा रेडिएसन अन्कोलोजी र न्यूक्लियर मेडिसिन बिषयको को जग राख्यो।

उनकी छोरी आइरिन र ज्वाईं फ्रेडरिक जोलियो–क्युरी ले कृत्रिम रेडियो एक्टिभिटी पत्ता लगाए। प्राकृतिक र कृत्रिम रेडिएसन दुवैका खोजकर्ता आमा र छोरीका अनुसन्धान आज पनि क्यान्सर उपचारका धेरै विधिहरूको आधार बनेका छन्।

आजको दिन हामी केवल उनको जन्मदिन होइन, विश्वभरका मेडिकल फिजिसिस्टहरूको योगदान पनि मनाउँछौं।

काठमाण्डौं क्यान्सर सेन्टर मा हामीले दिने प्रत्येक सुरक्षित र सटीक रेडिएसन डोज क्युरी परिवारको अद्भुत योगदानप्रतिको सम्मान हो।
