रेविज बारे जानौं र सचेत होऔं
रेविज जनावरको टोकाइबाट सर्ने प्राणघातक भाइरल रोग हो ।
रेविजबाट संक्रमित कुकुर, जङ्गली जनावर जस्तै स्याल, फ्याउरोले टोकेमा, चिथोरेमा वा सम्पर्कमा आउँदा तिनीहरुको र्‍यालबाट रेविज सर्छ । मुख्यतः भाइरसले मस्तिष्कमा असर पुर्‍याउँछ र लक्षण देखिएपछि रेविज घातक हुन्छ ।
कुकुर वा अन्य जनावर जस्तै स्याल, फ्याउरोले टोकेमा के गर्ने ?
- टोकेको घाउमा १५ मिनेटसम्म साबुनपानीले सफा गर्ने
- त्यसपछि तुरुन्तै नजिकैको स्वास्थ्य संस्थामा गई रेविज विरुद्धको खोप लगाउने
- स्वास्थ्यकर्मीको सल्लाह बमोजिम आवश्यक उपचार गर्ने
रेविज विरुद्धको खोप देशैभरिका प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य उपचार केन्द्रमा निःशुल्क उपलब्ध छ ।
रेविजबाट कसरी बच्ने ?
रेविज रोग लाग्नबाट बच्न कुकुर लगायत जङ्गली जनावरको टोकाईबाट बच्नुपर्छ ।
कुकुरको टोकाइबाट बच्न निम्न कुराहरु ख्याल गरौं - 
- सुतिरहेको कुकुरलाइ झ्वाट्टै नउठाऔं, लाताले नहानौं
- कुकुर तर्सिएको वा रिसाएको बेला नजिक नजाऔं
- कुकुरले खाना खाइरहेको बोला नजिस्काऔं, नर्तसाऔं
- कुकुरले पछ्याएमा नदौंडौें, शान्त भई उभिऔं
- नचिनेको कुकुरको नजिक जाँदा ख्याल गरौं
अनिवार्यमा रुपमा घरपालुवा वा सडक कुकुरहरुलाई पशु चिकित्सकको सल्लाहमा
रेविज विरुद्धको खोप लगाईंदिऔं
याद राखौं, रेबिज रोग लागेपछि उपचार हुँदैन, तर समयमै रेबिज विरुद्धको खोप लगाउन सकेमा बच्न सकिन्छ ।
