Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) Syndrome is characterized by an extra electrical pathway connecting the atria and ventricles. Key ECG features of WPW include a short PR interval, a prolonged QRS duration, and a distinctive delta wave: a slurred upstroke of the QRS complex.

WPW can lead to rapid heartbeats and arrhythmias, making proper management crucial, especially when patients experience conditions like atrial fibrillation. Rapid, irregular heart rhythms can escalate into life-threatening complications.
