Meet Our Change-Maker: Hamro Health Schools | Top 12 Social Innovation ICT Award 2025

Hamro Health Schools is a transformative Digital School Health initiative that integrates preventive healthcare with digital innovation to improve student well-being across Nepal. The program provides regular health screenings, infirmary management, and essential school-based health services while creating secure Digital Health Profiles for every student, maintained and updated by a School Health Nurse. In collaboration with municipalities, schools, and EdTech partners, it tracks health data such as nutrition, vision, and medical history to build lifelong electronic records.

Currently benefiting over 28,000 students in both public and private schools, Hamro Health Schools empowers institutions to prioritize child health, supports parents with accessible health insights, and enables policymakers to make informed, data-driven decisions.
