Samasthiti or Equal Standing Pose - The base position for all standing poses
Here are a few alignments to remember.
1. ✅ Big toes should be touching while the heels can be slightly apart. This keeps the thigh bones (femurs) from rotating outwards.
2. ✅ Pelvis should be slightly tucked in so as to help keep the spine neutral.
3. ✅ Chin slightly tucked in and ears pulled back in line with the shoulders to correct the most common postural condition of forward head.
If you follow all of this, then your major joints - ankles, knees, hips, and shoulders - align, making it possible to stand effortlessly.
