During the COVID pandemic, when the world slowed down, I picked up a pencil and began learning how to sketch.
What started as simple lines soon turned into studying shapes, shadows, and structures. That’s when I discovered something beautiful — the human bones are not just anatomy; they are a masterpiece.
I learned that sketching gives a different perspective of the human body for surgeons.
Every bump has meaning. Every groove has a purpose. Every curve tells a story of balance, strength, and design.
In those quiet lockdown days, sketching taught me what surgery later confirmed: the human body is art — purposeful, precise, and extraordinary.
