We are proud to share that MSSN was represented at the International Clinical Neuroimmunology Workshop 2026 held at KS Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore, India bringing attention to the realities of Multiple Sclerosis care in Nepal.

Our founder Dr. Avinash Chandra served as Chair of the session and was invited as a Multiple Sclerosis expert from Nepal, highlighting the growing contributions of Nepali clinicians in the global neuroimmunology community.

Meanwhile, our co-founder Dr. Ayush Chandra delivered a presentation titled “Delivering Comprehensive Care Amid Resource Constraints: Insights from Nepal.” His talk shed light on the challenges neurologists and physicians face in treating MS in Nepal, particularly due to financial barriers, limited access to disease-modifying therapies, and uneven healthcare resources across regions.

The presentation also highlighted the impactful efforts led by Dr. Avinash Chandra and the MSSN team to advocate for subsidized medications and improved treatment access for MS patients in Nepal, demonstrating how collaborative initiatives can transform care even in resource-limited settings.

This platform allowed us to bring the voice of Nepal’s MS community to the international stage, strengthen collaborations, and continue working toward better care for people living with Multiple Sclerosis.
