Hello everyone this post is all about the ragging and fighting case between 19th batch and 20th batch(our batch) of mbbs Nobel Medical College , Biratnagar.
Yesterday while we (20th batch) were going towards the lecture hall before the starting of the first period at 9 am , around (20/25) 19th batch seniors were around our lecture hall and started abusing us with rough slang words like (madha*ch*d , bs*k , ran*i ) and forced us to greet them bending 90 degree (for both boys and girls ) . After that 20/25 seniors entered in our class and made all of us to stand in the desk and again started abusing us with very much slang(rough) words. Then they called our one friend in the front and made him to give intro and greet them by abusing him with rough words and started beating him in the group. And some of our classmate went and stopped the fighting and after that many police as well as security guards came in the college. Then sir came in the class and during the class some 19th batch seniors threw stones from the outside and broke windows of our class and also threw glass bottles inside the class . Then in the break time we went to the washroom and after returning from there , 2/3 19th batch seniors were there and one of them beat our friend with his leg 🦵 without as any reason . So in defence my friend stood up and grabbed his shirt and kicked him and made him fall on the floor after that 10/15 students from our batch beat him very badly . They complained about this thing to the administration that 20th batch juniors beat their seniors without any reason and also they made allegations that we harassed/beat a senior girl too but in reality our batch didn't even touch any girl , they were playing victim card for not being suspended . And while we were having classes they surrounded our class from outside like they are gonna kill us . After some time police inspector came in the class and matter was cooled down .
Then we went to the hostel and the environment in the hostel is so toxic that 19th batch seniors from the above floors were giving rough words like (madha*cho* , ran*i , mu*i greet gar 10 choti / greet kar 10 baar bsd-*) . Yesterday these things happened and college said that they will investigate this matter and sort out the case in 2/3 days.
And today in the evening we (4/5 juniors were entering in the hostel in the evening time and during that 20/25 19th batch seniors surrounded us started beating us like they are beating animals/dogs in the field near the hostel . After beating badly they told us to enter the hostel and then again in the hostel some other seniors beat us again and one friend head broken down with bleeding. Due to this police came in the hostel and took some 19th batch and 20 th juniors to the police station with them in the van .
Now the main concern is about the administration of the college , student security , hostel security, anti-ragging , why the hostel is compulsory for all the paying students for mbbs ? If there is no proper security in the hostel for the juniors then why we are forced to pay the total hostel fee and forced to live in such a toxic place ? Guards are also just useless they just sit in the main gate do nothing more than that in students protection. Warden and hostel superintendent are also afraid of the seniors they also cant control/handle the seniors . College administration also useless doesn't take any strict action just watch and see until someone gets beaten to death or suicides himself 🙄
Government should take action against it.
