The friends club was established in 1972 with the motto, mission & philosophy of “develop character, confidence, leadership and social interaction with young people through sports, sportsmanship and team work"
This pioneer club is renowned and holds ‘A’ division position among football teams in Nepal. It has participated in numerous regional and national level tournaments and has the proud history of winning those tournaments. This club is not only dedicated to football tournament, it has also the spirit of doing social work, local development and awareness programs such as library , clinic, blood donation, environmental activities, awareness raising activities such as providing orientation training to young people regarding HIV/AIDS, girls trafficking, and skill development training for women and children.
