Thangdum Foundation

Thangdum Foundation THANGDUM FOUNDATION is a non-profit organisation established to support people in Mugu, Nepal Sincerely,
Founder, Thangdum Tulku Rinpoche

Thangdum Foundation was birthed out of Thangdum Tulku Rinpoche's strong connection to the people of Mugu and desire to promote the betterment of their lives. In this desolate location where most live hand-to-mouth, Thangdum Foundation aims gradually improve the education, medical services and care available, and above all provide an opportunity for the people to study and practice Buddhism. We extend a warm welcome to brothers and sisters worldwide, who wish to support us in our cause. For all who wish to join, Thangdum Foundation will be organising annual Mani prayers and special programs, and is looking to establish meditation centres and old folks’ home there in the near future. The foundation will also promote incense, herbs, and various other objects for Buddhist practice made in Mugu Karmarong village. Once again, we warmly welcome and would be immensely grateful for any means of support for Thangdum Foundation.

Today marks the Mahāparinirvāṇa day of the Great Omniscient Longchen Rabjam. On this sacred occasion, we remember his vast wisdom, boundless compassion, and incomparable teachings that illuminate the path of the Great Perfection. May his enlightened intention continue to bless all beings, and may the stainless teachings of Dzogchen flourish endlessly in the world.

Teaching of Longchenpa :

It is seen neither in the past Nor in the future.
It does not enter the present, Remaining where it is.
Do not use mind to look for mind, Just let it be.

Omniscient Longchenpa
