Strong minds. Stronger women. 💜

This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the resilience, courage, and emotional strength of women everywhere.

At PICS Nepal, we believe empowerment is not just about achievement — it’s about access to support, respect, and mental well-being. Every woman deserves to feel heard, valued, and safe.

Let’s continue building spaces where women rise together, support one another, and thrive without barriers.

Some moments stay with you longer than the event itself. ☕🧠

It has been a week since our Coffee with Counselor session, but the conversations, reflections, and shared experiences are still echoing in our minds.

In that small space, over a simple cup of coffee, people opened up about things they had been holding inside for a long time. Questions were asked. Perspectives shifted. And most importantly, people realized they are not alone in what they feel.

Sometimes healing doesn’t begin in a therapy room.
Sometimes it begins in a conversation.

If you missed the last session, don’t worry.
The next Coffee with Counselor might be exactly the pause you didn’t know you needed.

Stay tuned for the next one. ☕✨

What’s your "KFC story"? 🍗💡

Did you know it’s never too late to reinvent yourself? Our 5th session of "Coffee with Counselor" explores why discovering what truly brings you joy can happen at any stage of life.

Sometimes passion appears later than expected, and that’s okay. What matters is the courage to pursue what feels meaningful to you. When you are genuinely passionate about something, age, timelines, and expectations begin to matter a lot less.

At PICS NEPAL, we believe growth and self-discovery are lifelong journeys. Conversations like these remind us that it’s never too late to start again, learn again, and build a life that feels authentic. 🧠✨

“I feel understood.”

This is something we hear often in therapy sessions, and it means more than people realize.

Many people assume that mental health counselors can somehow “read minds.” But the truth is much simpler and more powerful than that. Counselors don’t read minds; we listen with intention, observe carefully, and create a safe space where emotions can be expressed without fear or judgment.

Understanding comes from empathy, training, and the willingness to truly hear someone’s story.

We are not:
❌ Motivational speakers
❌ Life coaches
❌ Mind readers

We are:
✅ Mental Health Counselors

Professionals who are trained to support, guide, and walk beside individuals through their healing journey with compassion, ethics, and evidence-based practice. 🌿

“Psychology is a fascinating word… it’s like a vast ocean.” 🌊🧠

Recapping our 5th session of Coffee with Counselor, where meaningful conversations unfolded around the depth and complexity of the human mind. Each session reminds us that psychology is not just theory - it is about understanding emotions, behavior, and the experiences that shape our lives.

Through open discussions and shared reflections, participants explored how psychological awareness can help us navigate challenges, build resilience, and develop a deeper connection with ourselves and others.

At PICS NEPAL, initiatives like Coffee with Counselor create a space where learning about mental health becomes approachable, interactive, and meaningful. ☕✨

“The future you imagine begins with the choices you make today.”

Today is more than a holiday; it is an opportunity to act in alignment with your values.

Every vote represents a voice.
Every choice shapes direction.
Every mindful action contributes to the world we collectively build.

Take a moment. Reflect. Choose consciously. Cast your vote not just for today, but for the future you wish to see.

Your participation matters.

Choosing the right leader is more than a civic duty - it’s a psychological process. 🧠🗳️

Have you ever noticed feeling drawn to a politician before fully understanding their policies?

That’s often the Halo Effect at work; a cognitive bias where one positive trait (confidence, appearance, speaking style) shapes our overall perception of a person. A strong voice, polished image, or assertive posture can unconsciously influence how credible or capable someone seems.

In this video, we unpack how psychology quietly shapes voting behavior and how you can make a more Sachet (conscious) decision by evaluating substance over image.

🗳️ 3 Things to Consider Before You Vote:

1️⃣ Personality vs. Policy
Are you responding to charisma or to clearly outlined, realistic plans?

2️⃣ Past Performance
Campaign promises are persuasive. Track records are measurable.

3️⃣ Bias Awareness
Are you overlooking flaws because they align with your preference? Challenge your own assumptions.

We also explore how body posture, tone of voice, and visual presentation can subtly influence perception without you even realizing it.

Pause. Reflect. Analyze beyond the surface.

What is the single most important quality you look for in a leader? Let’s discuss below. 👇

Your voice shapes our collective future.

To support our team and community in exercising their right to vote, PICS Nepal will remain closed tomorrow and on Election Day.

Democracy depends on participation. Taking the time to vote is not just a civic duty, it’s a responsibility toward the communities we live in and the future we help shape.

We encourage everyone to participate in the democratic process thoughtfully and responsibly.

Regular operations will resume the following day.

Life can be chaotic sometimes, full of stress, responsibilities, and constant problem-solving. We get so used to handling pressure that it slowly becomes our “normal.” Sometimes we get so used to stress and chaos that peace feels uncomfortable.
Our mind and body adapt to what we experience repeatedly, even if it’s unhealthy. If calmness feels strange, it doesn’t mean something is wrong. It may just mean you’re healing and adjusting to a new normal.
