At CCID, every child’s well-being matters deeply to us. 💙 In collaboration with Nepal Eye Hospital, our wonderful students received a free eye check-up to ensure their vision stays as bright as their smiles. Early care and regular health screenings play a vital role in supporting children with intellectual disabilities, helping them learn, grow, and explore the world with confidence.

We are truly grateful for this meaningful initiative that prioritizes inclusion and accessible healthcare. When we care for their health, we empower their future. 🌟👁️

At CCID ,Centre for Children with Intellectual Disabilities, we recently had a volunteer spend two beautiful weeks with our children, and in that short time, they truly became part of our little family. From dancing during activity time to patiently sitting beside a child who needed extra support, every moment was filled with genuine care, laughter, and connection. Our children don’t just remember lessons ,they remember how someone made them feel, and you made them feel valued, heard, and loved.

Though it was only two weeks, the smiles shared, the tiny achievements celebrated, and the bonds formed will stay in our hearts much longer. Thank you for giving your time, your kindness, and your open heart to our children. You may have come as a volunteer, but you leave as a cherished member of the CCID family. 💙

✨ Saraswati Puja at CCID ✨

Today, the Centre for Children with Intellectual Disabilities (CCID) was filled with devotion, warmth, and quiet moments of deep emotion as we observed Saraswati Puja. In the presence of Goddess Saraswati, the symbol of wisdom, knowledge, and creativity, our children offered prayers in their own beautiful ways , reminding us that learning is not defined by speed or perfection, but by effort, patience, and heart. Each smile, gesture, and attempt carried a meaning far greater than words. 📚

For children with intellectual disabilities, education is not merely academic , it is a journey of self-belief, expression, dignity, and hope. Every small achievement becomes a powerful milestone, and every step forward reflects courage and resilience. On this sacred day, we bow in gratitude for the gift of learning and pray for wisdom, strength, and endless opportunities for our children to continue growing, dreaming, and shining in their own unique light. 🙏

Meet Sirish Shrestha 💛
Sirish may not always express himself clearly with words, but his heart speaks louder than anything else. Through his drawings, his love for studying, and the way he dances with pure joy, he shows us his beautiful world. He gets excited meeting new people and welcomes everyone with the warmest smiles and the kindest energy. A truly loving boy with Down syndrome, Sirish reminds us every day that passion, friendship, and happiness need no perfect words ,only a pure heart. ✨

❤️A day filled with laughter and happiness 😌

✨Today at CCID a group of youngster from a club shared their love and care to all the children. They joined our little home with huge hearts and shared unconditional love . Our little angels loved their presence and the way they hugged and taught them has our hearts.🥰

The amazing group of our future doctors helped us with various things and they will always be remembered in our hearts and minds.💕
