Autism is just a different way of seeing and understanding the world 🌈 People with autism may learn, talk, or express feelings differently, but they are full of talents, creativity, and beautiful hearts. With love, patience, and support, they can shine in their own amazing ways. Autism is not a weakness , it’s a unique strength. 💙

✨ Saraswati Puja at CCID ✨

Today, the Centre for Children with Intellectual Disabilities (CCID) was filled with devotion, warmth, and quiet moments of deep emotion as we observed Saraswati Puja. In the presence of Goddess Saraswati, the symbol of wisdom, knowledge, and creativity, our children offered prayers in their own beautiful ways , reminding us that learning is not defined by speed or perfection, but by effort, patience, and heart. Each smile, gesture, and attempt carried a meaning far greater than words. 📚

For children with intellectual disabilities, education is not merely academic , it is a journey of self-belief, expression, dignity, and hope. Every small achievement becomes a powerful milestone, and every step forward reflects courage and resilience. On this sacred day, we bow in gratitude for the gift of learning and pray for wisdom, strength, and endless opportunities for our children to continue growing, dreaming, and shining in their own unique light. 🙏

Meet Sirish Shrestha 💛
Sirish may not always express himself clearly with words, but his heart speaks louder than anything else. Through his drawings, his love for studying, and the way he dances with pure joy, he shows us his beautiful world. He gets excited meeting new people and welcomes everyone with the warmest smiles and the kindest energy. A truly loving boy with Down syndrome, Sirish reminds us every day that passion, friendship, and happiness need no perfect words ,only a pure heart. ✨

❤️A day filled with laughter and happiness 😌

✨Today at CCID a group of youngster from a club shared their love and care to all the children. They joined our little home with huge hearts and shared unconditional love . Our little angels loved their presence and the way they hugged and taught them has our hearts.🥰

The amazing group of our future doctors helped us with various things and they will always be remembered in our hearts and minds.💕

Four beautiful months filled with laughter, warmth, and unforgettable moments .🤍 Our days at CCID were made brighter by a kind Japanese volunteer who shared her time, energy, and heart with our children. From playful activities to simple everyday smiles, she built bonds that went beyond language and made every child feel loved and included.

Her thoughtful gesture of bringing toys filled our center with joy and excitement .🧸✨ More than the gifts, it was her kindness and presence that truly touched our hearts. Thank you for being a part of our CCID family, these memories will always stay with us .🌏💖

Some people don’t just support a cause , they show up for it 🤍

At CCID, Mr. Aaryan is one of those special souls. Every year, he stands beside us with both his heart and his hands ,supporting us financially and being physically present whenever help is needed. His quiet dedication, kindness, and consistency have touched countless lives within our CCID family.

We are deeply grateful for the time, effort, and belief he continues to invest in our children and our journey. Thank you, Mr. Aaryan, for being more than a supporter ,for being part of our family 🙏✨

✨ A Beautiful Day with Our CCID Girls ✨

On this International Human Rights Day, our CCID girls , each wonderfully unique and living with down syndrome spent a heartfelt day at a workshop on good touch and bad touch.

The day was filled with warmth, gentle learning, and a strong sense of safety. Seeing the girls understand their boundaries with confidence and carry themselves with so much innocence and strength truly touched our hearts. 🌼

We came back with brighter smiles, closer bonds, and a deeper feeling of togetherness.
Our girls made the day special just by being their beautiful, pure selves. 💛

✨ This is Asmi , our bright, 16-year-old bundle of creativity at CCID.
She has Down syndrome, but that’s only one small part of who she is.
What truly stands out is her spirit full of colour, rhythm, and endless curiosity. 💛

Asmi shines the moment she picks up a paintbrush.
Her artwork feels like a little window into the way she sees the world , full of warmth, imagination, and heart. 🎨✨

And when the music starts?
She doesn’t just dance, she becomes the music.
Fast songs, slow songs, old songs, new songs , she can move to anything with confidence and joy. 🕺💫

But that’s not all.
Asmi loves writing, tries her best in every class, and is just as excited about sports as she is about art.
She plays with determination, laughs easily, and makes everyone around her feel comfortable and included. 🌼

Having Asmi with us at CCID is a gift.
She reminds us that talent comes in many forms and hers is sprinkled everywhere: in her art, her dance, her words, and her big, beautiful heart. 💛

@✨ 34th International Day of Persons with Disabilities ✨

Today felt special at CCID. Our children came in with their brightest smiles, ready to enjoy the day in their own beautiful ways. Some jumped right into the games, laughing and cheering each other on. Others sat for drawing class, quietly turning their thoughts into colours and shapes. 🎨💛

Watching them enjoy, try, learn, and support one another reminded us how much strength and joy they carry within themselves every single day. Their happiness filled the whole centre.

We are deeply grateful to the volunteers from Lions International Club who stood beside us, guided the activities, and gave their time with so much love and patience. Your presence made the day smoother, warmer, and truly complete. 🦁❤️

At CCID, every child is celebrated , not just today, but always.
Here’s to more days filled with acceptance, courage, and the simple joy of being together.

✨ This is Umesh, a 19-year-old boy who fills CCID with so much joy.
He has Down syndrome, but honestly, that’s not what we notice first.
The first thing anyone sees is his smile and the way he brings life into every room he walks into. 💛

Umesh dances like the music is a part of him, draws with a kind of focus that makes you stop and admire, and plays with a heart that’s full of kindness. 🎨🕺

What makes him special isn’t just his talent , it’s the way he makes people feel.
Warm. Seen. Happy. 🌼

We’re lucky to have Umesh with us at CCID.
He reminds us every day that everyone has their own beautiful way of expressing themselves , and his is simply magical. ✨

✨ A little escape from CCID to Budhanilkantha & ISKCON ✨
Today felt like the perfect reset. Leaving CCID for a bit and visiting Budhanilkantha brought a quiet kind of peace, just sitting in front of the Sleeping Vishnu, watching people pray, and feeling the calm settle in.

Then walking into ISKCON added a whole different energy. The music, the smiles, the warmth,it felt vibrant and comforting at the same time.

It’s amazing how a short trip can relax your mind and lift your heart. Came back with lighter thoughts and a happier version of me. 💛✨
