In Nepali society, the middle class carries immense influence.
It shapes what we adopt, repeat, normalize, and eventually institutionalize. From marriages to lifestyles, imitation becomes culture; “if they did it, we must too.”
This class brings both progress and pressure: busy, aspirational, yet often unconsciously submissive to comparison.
Understanding this isn’t about blame; it’s about recognizing how deeply middle-class imitation molds our social structures, choices, and identities.
