HDCS-Namuna Community Hospital

HDCS-Namuna Community Hospital DHL is a project of HDCS that is noteworthy for several reasons. DHL was the first example of a public private partnership in Nepal's health sector.

HDCS- District Hospital Lamjung (DHL) is a district level hospital that Human Development and Community Services (HDCS) has been managing in partnership with the Government of Nepal. In 2001, the hospital made history for being the first government institution to be handed over to the private sector. Since 2001 DHL has been running under the management of HDCS with the support of our partners and the Government of Nepal. We have transformed the infrastructure and increased the capacity of the hospital: From a 15 bed hospital, DHL now has 60 bed as well as a range of services. In 2003, a study from the World Bank quoted Lamjung Hospital as being a "model hospital in Nepal." As a district level hospital we have high standards for DHL and we are blessed to have the support of our partners, the community, and local leaders.

सचेतनामूलक कार्यक्रम सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न गरिएको छ ।
स्वस्थ समाज निर्माणका लागि
उपचारसँगै ज्ञान, सचेतना र रोकथाम पनि उत्तिकै आवश्यक हुन्छ भन्ने विश्वासका साथ
HDCS–Hospital सधैं समुदायको साथमा प्रतिबद्ध छ।

Under the STEP UP & SCALE UP Project,
an awareness program on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), mental health, oral and dental health, and personal hygiene was successfully conducted for the students of Shree Saubhagya Sadan Secondary School, located at Sundarbazar–10, Dhuseni, on Magh 14, 2082, within the school premises.
With the belief that knowledge, awareness, and prevention are just as important as treatment for building a healthy society, HDCS–Hospital remains always committed to standing with the community.

- सामान्य स्वास्थ्य जाँच (General Check-up)
- BMI परीक्षण
- दन्त (Dental) जाँच
- आँखा (Eye) जाँच

विद्यार्थीहरूको स्वास्थ्य अवस्था पहिचान गर्दै समयमै सचेतना र सेवा पुर्‍याउने हाम्रो उद्देश्य हो।

HDCS–Namuna Community Hospital
is moving forward by expanding healthcare services beyond the hospital premises and reaching the community level.

As part of the STEP UP & SCALE UP Project, a free health service program was successfully conducted for the students studying at Shree Saubhagya Sadan Secondary School, located in Sundarbazar–10, Dhuseni.

The services provided included:
- General health check-up
- BMI assessment
- Dental check-up
- Eye examination

Our objective is to identify students’ health conditions and provide timely awareness and necessary services.
By working hand in hand with the community, HDCS–Namuna Community Hospital remains continuously committed to building a healthy future.

“A Heart-to-Heart with Senior Citizens” on the 5th of every month.
