हाम्रा दोश्री आमा यी नर्सहरू !

स्कूलमा फ्लोरेन्स नाइटिंगेलको जीवनी “Lady With The Lamp”पढेर नर्सहरूको पेशागत महानताबारे पहिलो पाठ बुझिएको हो! पछि जीवनमा पटक पटक हस्पिटलमा उनीहरूको महत्वपूर्ण भूमिकाबारे प्रत्यक्ष भेगिएको पनि हो।

तर यस पटक वीर हस्पिटलमा ( खास गरी अपरेसन पश्चातका पाॅच दिन ICU मा ) बस्दा नर्सहरू हाम्रा जन्मजननी आमाकै नयाॅ अवतार भएको अन्तरहृदयैदेखि अनुभूति भयो!

कहिल्यै नचिनेका,कुनै नातासाइनो नभएका रोगी/अशक्त/अचेत मानिसहरूको दिसापिसाब सोहोर्ने, प्रदुषित शरीर सफा गर्ने,डाइपर समेत लगाइदिने,रातदिन झर्को नमानी विरामीहरूको स्याहार गर्ने काम अरू कसले गर्नसक्छ?

अनि उल्टै उनीहरूलाई नै ‘..छोरी बिग्रे नर्स..’ भनेर हेप्ने? १२/१३ बर्षसम्म करारमा काम लगाउने? न्यूनतम वेतन दिन समेत आनाकानी गर्ने? प्रोत्साहन भत्ता रोकेर राख्ने?....

यस्ता साक्षात ‘देवी’हरू,हाम्रा दोश्री आमाहरूलाई हार्दिक नमन !!
