The visit marked an important opportunity to share our ongoing efforts in delivering quality and affordable eye care services, discuss future collaborations, and strengthen our partnership in the mission to prevent avoidable blindness.

A team from Himalaya Eye Hospital, together with the Country Head of the Eye Care Foundation, carried out an observational visit to Chandannath Eye Hospital in Jumla and the District Eye Care Centers in Kalikot and Mugu.
The visit aimed to assess service delivery, infrastructure, and coordination of eye health programs in these districts.

-Plantation of Walnut tree in memory of Late Mr. Jaap N. van Rijswijk
-Plantation of Kumquat tree in memory of Late Mr. Aad Hemelaar
-Plantation of Persimmon tree in memory of Late Mrs. Anita H. Simons-Dingemans.

Nepa Netra jyoti sangh Himalaya Eye Hospital has signed an MoU with Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh Jumla Branch to upgrade Chandannath Eye Hospital, Jumla and ensure smooth eye care services in Jumla, Humla, Mugu, Kalikot and nearby districts.

The agreement was signed on 26 September 2025 at NNJS Central Office, Kathmandu, in the presence of national , provincial and district leadership.

Together, we are working to bring quality and accessible eye care closer to the people of Karnali. 💙👁️
