Sarangkot is a popular hill station near Pokhara in Nepal, renowned for its breathtaking sunrise and sunset views over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Standing at an altitude of about 1,600 meters, Sarangkot provides a stunning panorama of snow-capped peaks, including Annapurna I, Machapuchare (Fishtail), and other Himalayan giants. The viewpoint is especially famous among photographers and trekkers for capturing the vibrant hues of dawn and dusk over the Himalayas.

Apart from mountain views, Sarangkot is also a famous spot for paragliding, offering one of the best experiences in the world due to its favorable weather, consistent thermal currents, and scenic landscapes. Visitors can reach Sarangkot by a short drive from Pokhara, followed by a short hike up to the viewpoint. There are also several trekking routes that pass through Sarangkot for those interested in exploring the countryside.
