A big thank you to Amberley Medical Centre for providing a drop-in flu clinic here at Amberley Country Estate today.

This initiative gave our residents convenient access to their flu vaccinations without needing to leave the village—just in time ahead of the winter season.

Last night we were pleased to host the Amberley Volunteer Fire Brigade for a search and rescue training exercise in one of our vacant, unfinished villas.

This was a valuable opportunity for our local volunteer firefighters to carry out realistic training in a residential setting, helping them stay prepared for real-life situations. It’s also great for the brigade to become familiar with our village layout, ensuring they can respond quickly and effectively if ever needed.

We’re proud to support our local brigade and the incredible work they do for our community—thank you to the team for your ongoing dedication and service.

Exciting progress continues here at Amberley Country Estate!

Our on-site contractors, HPA Group, have been powering through the build, with more and more villas popping up across the site. It’s fantastic to see the village really taking shape as each new home is completed.

There’s plenty happening behind the scenes too, with construction of our brand-new Clubhouse now underway — a major milestone that will become a central hub for our community.

We’re proud to now have over 60 occupied villas and close to 100 residents calling Amberley Country Estate home — a true reflection of the vibrant and growing community here.

Alongside the homes, significant civil works are in progress, and you’ll notice the road network really starting to come together, connecting different areas of the village.

A big thank you to HPA and everyone involved for their continued hard work. We can’t wait to share more updates as things progress!

Last week our monthly Blokes Lunch group enjoyed a fantastic day out, starting with a visit to Patoa Farms in Hawarden, followed by lunch on the way home at the Railway Tavern in Amberley.

The tour of Patoa Farms was incredibly impressive, giving the group a real insight into the scale and efficiency of the operation. As one of the largest pig farming operations in the Southern Hemisphere, it was fascinating to see behind the scenes and learn more about how everything works.

After the tour, the group stopped in Amberley for lunch at the Railway Tavern, where everyone enjoyed some great food and the opportunity to support a local business.

All in all, it was a great day out and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended. A big thank you to both Patoa Farms and the Railway Tavern for helping make it such an enjoyable outing.

We’re excited to have AOK Clothing in the Amberley Country Estate Clubhouse today hosting a special pop-up shop for our Residents.

AOK is showcasing a beautiful range of premium New Zealand knitwear, featuring garments made from 100% NZ Merino wool, luxurious Possum fur blends, and soft Cashmere-Merino blends. The collection caters to both womenswear and menswear.

It’s a wonderful opportunity for our Residents to browse and shop high-quality, NZ-made garments right here in the Village, all while enjoying the social atmosphere of the Clubhouse.

From instant village updates and event reminders, to easy access to the Residents’ phonebook, safety and emergency communication features, daily weather, radio and other helpful information, Lumin is a valuable tool that keeps our community engaged and connected. Last week, residents enjoyed a wonderful day trip in the village van to the Christchurch Botanic Gardens.

The gardens were looking absolutely incredible, with vibrant seasonal displays and beautifully maintained grounds. It was a fantastic day out exploring the various garden collections and appreciating the immense amount of work and care that goes into keeping them in such stunning condition.

We are truly fortunate to have such an outstanding attraction right here in our region — a special place to visit and enjoy together.
