Healing days have been rolling this year 🤍

Im constantly honoured and humbled when people ask to have mahi done.

I'm incredibly proud to see kaumātua, mātua, rangatahi, many Māori people healing trauma, healing themsleves holistically. When your on the table you have the chance to unload emotionally, physically, mentally and intergenerationally. Its open for everyone, not just our Māori whānau.

I have a clinic day coming up next Tuesday 21st March. Let me know if you would like some mahi done and we can have a korero 🥰

Id like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported me and my venture this year. Its been tricky finding my feet amongst so many talented kaimirimiri, kairomiromi and amazing healers! Ive stepped into every opportunity I possibly could this year with some mana people 💚 I was both humbled and grounded and look forward to another year of growth, collaboration and learning. Ive meet new people along the way and connected with others on a deeper level. Nei rā te mihi ngākau nui ki a koutou kātoa.

Today has been a beautiful day of healing, body work and recharging!

After a healing this morning we got chatting and i thought the whakaaro was gold for everyone!

Where or what you focus on is everything 👌
If you choose to focus on the big picture, you welcome wider, abundant opportunities. You see more of what is happening around you.
If you choose to focus on one thing, something right in front of you and only that, you will miss the world go by. You will get lost in 1 thing, investing so much time, energy and emotion in one thing.

Remember what the Christmas holidays is all about - spending time with loved ones, giving for the pure purpose of giving to others. Relaxing and resetting yourself and setting goals for the year ahead.

Try not to leat that crazy driver who cut you off, ruin your day OR that greedy person at the super market taking the last of the cream OR that one family member who makes xmas day all about them. Look beyond, look around and remember: where you put focus, you out energy.

This weeks appointments have been a little jumbled. Rather than my usual Tuesday Romiromi day, im doing Thursday instead.
In saying that ive had a cancellation and have space to offer someone else a romiromi.

My name is Shinaye Mihirangi Apaapa and I am the person behind Mihi. I thought id introduce myself.

Mihi for me was an awakening process.
It took huge personal healing and growth in which i dug deep and looked at everything that didn't feel right within. Once things felt stagnant i sought help from matekite, kaimirimiri, kairomiromi, personal couches and friends to move through more barriers and and sticky stuff to unravel more layers which held me back.
Im now in a better frame of mind and position to share what i learnt, to encourage others through the same process and heal 🤍
Not only do i have my own experiences to refer to but i have been in many wananga, learning our traditional practice of romiromi and learning to follow wairua.
Things are forever unfolding, shifting and nothing stays the same.

You see Mihi for me is about greeting the wounded pieces within ones self. Acknowledging the parts of us all that no longer serve but keep us restricted. Acknowledging, releasing and giving thanks to let the new come forward, to let us be reborn in our own awarenesses and knowing. Its both rewarding and empowering!

My great grandmother gave the name Mihi to my gran, her to my mum and my mum to me. It not only holds intergenerational kaha, mana and maia, it also opens my gateway forward.
