Magnesium is the 4th most abundant mineral in our body!

Most people don’t even know they are deficient in it.

Magnesium is involved in hundreds of metabolic functions in our body. Most people commonly link taking magnesium to help muscles relax. But what they don’t know is that is essential in energy production, muscle contraction and relaxation, cardiac function, lowering stress and depression levels, improving sleep and energy levels, hormone balance (e.g. serotonin) and much more!

We recommend using topical magnesium oils as an effective way to increase magnesium levels in your body.

There are several different forms of magnesium. It is best to speak to your doctor, pharmacist or health physician to find which supplements are best for you.

Check out our slides on magnesium and why you need it!

Have a question or want to know wahat forms of magnesium are better for you? Ask away or send us a message!

Thank you David from for inviting us along to a Pilates class.

Wow! Definitely a very cool place to come work out. It was my first time doing Pilates and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Had to break stereotypes last week - men do Pilates too!

Thanks David for having my team along and giving us an insight to what you guys do and letting us experience that first hand. I would definitely recommend you to anyone who is looking for a knowledgeable instructor, in a cool, clean, safe environment with positive vibes all round. I’ll definitely be back for more sessions!

Check the guys out down in Newmarket, Auckland.

It’s all in the hips 💃🏼🕺🏽

My #1 Hip mobility exercise. 90/90s
Hip joint stiffness & and muscle tightness can cause all sorts of dramas in the knees & lower back. Since I’ve started doing daily hip mobility exercises alongside other variations of 90/90s, hip openers, and other exercises to improve internal and external rotation I can now sit more comfortably on the ground & perform squats better and have less lower back pain.

Book an appointment with our Osteopaths If you need help with improving hip & lower back pain, hip mobility, squats, lunges or functional fitness.

These are the 5 most common types of headaches that we see in our clinic. What kind of headaches do you get?
It’s important to seek medical advice for your head aches. Especially if it’s a new symptom and/or experience neurological issues such as altered vision, hearing, balance or facial paraesthesia. It’s important to tell you health practitioner, GP or osteopath about your headaches frequency, intensity and pain pattern. Write these down to help you remember. It makes our job easier to figure out the type of headache. For example: does the headache come on towards end of the day, is it induced by exercise, or is it due to dehydration. There are several causative factors for headaches that’s why it’s really important to understand your complete health when assessing your headaches.
