Organic-Talanoa Podcast

Organic-Talanoa Podcast I'm the creator of this Podcast Organic Talanoa.

I'm looking at having relaxed self-directed Talanoa with experiences and insights that hopefully you can take one thing out from each of our Guests on our Podcast and support you with your journey in life.

Throughout Season 2 of the Organic Talanoa series, 12 incredible guests shared their personal experiences and unique journeys through life, including both the good times and the challenges they faced. These guests have inspired me and encouraged me to consider different approaches and mindsets when navigating life's unexpected obstacles.
In the past 12 months, I've shared clips from the Talanoa sessions, highlighting some of the valuable insights shared by our guests. One recurring theme in these conversations, which is also voiced by Richie and many others, is the immense love and support they have for their families and friends, and how this support system empowers them to become better fathers, brothers, and individuals.
While I am not a psychologist or counsellor, my main goal with this podcast is to offer hope and inspiration to men, who often face the stigma of being unable to openly discuss difficult situations or seek support. I wanted to provide a platform that presents a variety of stories that may resonate with what you are currently going through.
As I share this final clip featuring our wonderful guest Richie Leith Aholelei I want to remind you to reaffirm your own value to those who love you. You matter, and it's important to silence any negative voices that may try to bring you down. Instead, focus on becoming an amazing father, brother, son, friend, business owner or mentor, and let that positive voice guide your journey.
Doors always open, happy to listen and organically Talanoa about life's journey so far. πŸ™‚
Blessings to each and every one of you πŸ₯°β€οΈπŸ’―

Given the rising cost of living in New Zealand, particularly in Auckland, many families are experiencing financial strain, whether you are paying a mortgage or renting. Richie Leith Aholelei, in his conversation with Te Whatu Ora, the discussion around the reality of poor health choices and the effects of affordability for our families to be able to access healthy foods.

The affordability issues that we now face forces our families to opt for lower-quality food options that fit their budget at the time. The challenges we face such as financial literacy, health, and nutrition choices will be a ongoing issue, but if we don't acknowledge and we recognise these issues and explore avenues for improved education and support to strive for longer and healthier lives and shift away from consistently negative outcomes reflected in our statistics and data.

Having a strong connection within the community offers several advantages, particularly when assistance is needed. In this Talanoa clip with Richie Leith Aholelei he shared his perspective on a chaotic period in New Zealand's history and how they decided to tackle a negative situation with an unconventional idea. Recognising that the community needed support with food supplies, they took a risk and took action to address the problem.

The quote "Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower" resonates well with Richie. Despite everything coming to a standstill during that time and the uncertain funding support, he refused to let it dampen his determination to achieve results. He pitched the idea to other business owners and community groups, and the positive support they provided turned the idea into reality.

I am truly inspired by his quote, "They may forget what you said to them, but they will never forget how you made them feel." which has made this story of Richie's growth in both his business and community programs truly remarkable.

Engaging in demanding sports like bodybuilding requires immense dedication and hard work. While we often hear about the positive effects of weight loss challenges and regular exercise, it's essential we understand the impact it has on our loved ones. Sometimes, when we become fixated on achieving our goals, we may unintentionally overlook how our pursuits affect those close to us. From waking up early in the morning to squeezing in late-night training sessions, and even experiencing mood swings due to dietary changes, the journey can be challenging.

In this Talanoa snippet with Richie Leith Aholelei we gain insights into his personal experience with bodybuilding. He highlights the physical and mental challenges that come with a sport that places great importance on appearance, emphasising its demanding and critical nature. Family and friends can be like a compass that guides us through life's journey. They provide us with the moral support that can both ground us and uplift us, and carry us through both the sunny and stormy days.
Never underestimate the power of simply reaching out and asking "how are you doing". It's a small gesture that can have a big impact, and reminds us that we're all in this together." Cherish them, nurture them, and hold them close, for in the end, they are the ones who make life worth living. Really encourage our listeners to be the light that shines through the darkest of storms, and the hope that carries that person in need of support to brighter days.

"Don't hesitate to reach out and ask how they're doing - for in their well-being lies our own." πŸ™Œβ€

"The influence of an important person in your life can be like a powerful gust of wind, altering the course of your journey and guiding you towards paths you may have never discovered on your own."

When Talanoa brings out the hard case experiences that a lot of Pacific Kids faced when growing up, when you listen to this segment with Rodney Elliott you understand as we grow older and have our own families, we begin to appreciate more and more the impact that our mothers have had on our lives. We realize that their love has helped shape us into the people we are today, and we are grateful for all the sacrifices they have made for us.

So if you ever find yourself in a situation where you a decision could have heavy implications in your life, remember the love of your mother or those who have mentored us, let their voice guide you towards the right path, and know that their love will always be there to support you, no matter what.
