Skin isn’t vanity - it’s health.
There are times in life when skin changes. Illness, stress, hormones, medications, life events - suddenly your skin isn’t behaving the way it used to. When that happens, many people turn to the internet, social media, or a retail counter for answers.
Skin health therapists and advanced facialists study skin for a living. Cosmetic chemistry, skin conditions, inflammatory disorders, medications, and treatments - both aesthetic and medical. We work closely with a network of professionals and know when referral matters. Most importantly, we take the time to listen.
The beauty and aesthetic industry isn’t without its cowboys - that’s real. Which is why reviews matter. Consultations matter. You should feel heard within minutes of talking to someone about your skin.
This year, I’ve supported a higher number of inflammatory skin conditions including rosacea, acne, and dermatitis - many of which were aggravated by ill-suited skincare, self-diagnosis, or trialling everything over the counter. Skin doesn’t need guessing. It needs understanding.
It’s been encouraging to see more people step away from the status quo and choose informed, evidence-led skin care.
If you’re ready to approach your skin with more clarity and support as we head into the New Year, you’re very welcome to book a consultation online. I’d love to help.
