When did we change what childhood is meant to be?
A teacher from Uganda once reached out to me…
Their students don’t have pencils, paper, playgrounds — not even shoes.
And I couldn’t stop thinking…
Why do children need paper and pencils…
when they’re surrounded by the greatest canvas ever created — Nature?
Why build playgrounds…
when the ultimate playground already exists?
Why cover their feet…
when they're the conduits for Earth's powerful healing force?
Somewhere along the way,
we replaced simplicity with expectation.
We replaced connection… with convenience.
It’s time to remember what was never missing but forgotten.
Back to nature.
Back to basics.
Back to what makes us come alive.
What do you think children truly need?
