My horse having a nice lick and chew showing he is having a release thru his body after a set of Bowen moves. Horses show release through yawning, licking and chewing, rapid blinking, and also going into a very sleepy calm state of mind.

This photo shows "tiger stripes". These faint lines on the side of the horse indicate that the lymphatic system has been activated which is a common feature of a Bowen treatment. The lymphatic system helps to eliminate waste products in the body.

Here is an 18yo mare I treated 3 times. The picture on the left is the day I started treatment, and the right is after the third treatment 4 weeks later. Notice how the upper right side of the mares rump has a "flat" look to it, and in the after photo, the rump is now nice and round.

Hi and welcome to Harmonic Bowen Therapy!

My name is Jessica and I gained my qualification for Human Bowen Therapy in July 2022, then in December 2022 I gained my qualification in Equine Bowen Therapy.
I am also a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Health Science in Nursing, and also a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing.

What is Bowen Therapy?
Bowen Therapy is a non invasive hands on therapy working with the fascia found in you and your horses body.
Fasica is a connective tissue, resembling a cobweb, found beneath the skin, covering all of the muscles and organs in the body. Fascia plays an important role in form and function in the body allowing the muscles to work in harmony without restriction. Any form of trauma or stress can affect the fascia and result in sore, tight muscles. Bowen therapy works to restore the form and function of the fascia and therefore allowing the body to heal and perform at its best.
