Tenā koutou katoa whānau
With Waitangi Day coming up, here's a little something that could be of interest to you.
Many of us didn’t learn the full story of Te Tiriti o Waitangi at school. This year, we’re changing that with posters and a FREE 30-minute online course for your whole team!
Waitangi Day is about more than just a day off. It’s a chance for us to reflect on the history that shapes our country, our communities, and even our mahi today.
Our learners often tell us they wish they’d known more about our history sooner. That’s why we’ve built free posters for you to hang around the office and a custom online course, specifically for Waitangi Day/Week. It’s short (only 30 minutes!), free, and designed to give you a brief introduction to the "why" behind the day.
We know how busy things get, so we’ve kept it flexible. Your team can jump into the online course in their own time or you can even go through it together as a group to spark some meaningful kōrero.
Let’s make this Waitangi Day about growing our collective understanding of who we are as Aotearoa, New Zealand!
Course content will be available from the 2nd to the 10th of February 2026.
