To our dear patients,
We thank you for your continued support and for allowing us to be part of your wellbeing team.
Exciting news !!!

On the 3rd of November we are relocating to new premises and rebranding to better suit the new location.
Whilst we are sad to leave Elstree after so many years, we are also very excited to be able to offer more services that will go with bigger, newer premises.

Our name and address are changing, but you will receive care from the same dedicated team with the addition of another nurse, and, over time, another GP.

We are confident we will be able to offer you more services and more appointment availability within a short timeframe.
So…

Our New Name:
The Village Family Medical
Our New Address:
Building S1, 265 Morrin Road Saint Johns Auckland
A map of the new location is attached. Plenty of parking (2 hours free parking).

Kind regards,
Elstree Ave Family Drs—The Village Family Medical Team.

If you're heading to the Pacific Islands, take extra care - dengue fever cases are soaring, with Samoa reporting over 2,000 cases since April.

New Zealand has seen a sharp rise in travellers returning with dengue, especially from Samoa. In Auckland alone, July saw 34 confirmed cases - up from just 5 last year.

Planning a trip? Protect yourself:
✅ Wear light-coloured, long-sleeve clothing
✅ Use insect repellent with DEET (check info.health.nz for details on appropriate strength as it depends on whether you're an adult or a child)
✅ Avoid swampy areas or standing water
✅ Sleep under mosquito nets or in screened rooms

Older adults and young children are especially at risk of severe illness. Stay safe and follow local health advice.
