Manurewa Medical is now an authorised Covid Vaccinating site! They are currently inviting patients to book an appointment for their Covid Vaccines.

COVID-19 vaccinations are available by appointment only Mon-Fri 8.30am-4.30pm. The following people are currently eligible to book an appointment:

• All people aged 65 and over
• All Maori and Pacifica aged 55 and over.
• Anyone with underlying health conditions including heart problems, high blood pressure, Asthma and lung conditions, Diabetes and kidney problems.

You can have your annual flu shot and your COVID-19 vaccination, but not at the same time. Get your COVID-19 vaccination first if you have an appointment booked for it.

If you do not have an appointment booked for a COVID-19 vaccination, get your flu shot first.

It is Easter weekend this coming weekend so we wanted to remind you about how to access healthcare when we are closed.
We recommend you always call our practice number first, this number is 266-7758. Our phone is answered 24 hours per day, 7 days per week by a registered nurse who is able to provide you advice and direct you to the best place to get care.
If you have a medical emergency then please call 111.
We are committed to ensuring you get the best care possible and you are a valued patient of this general practice.
We will be closed Friday 2nd through to Monday 5th, re-opening on Tuesday 6th April.

As you may have heard, we are now in Alert Level 3 until 11:59pm Wednesday 17 February 2021.
If you have an appointment booked in the next three days, you will still receive the care you need, however this may be done virtually (by phone or video).
Please keep calm during this period of understandably heightened anxiety and demand. If you require care, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
It’s important that we all stay vigilant – wash your hands regularly, use the NZ COVID Tracer app by scanning QR codes and keep the Bluetooth turned on in the app.
Remember, if you are experiencing an emergency, please dial 111.
