3 days of hockey with the lads again. They put up a good fight against Australia. Nice to see familiar faces, many new ones, and one who’s presence is sorely missed. The boys will be away in Turkey in April for the world champs, we wish them all best and safe travels. Hopefully we get to tag along next year.

Finally! Great news for all mums to be. It always astounded us that ACC didn’t already do this. Good on them for moving forward.

More women and birthing parents will now receive cover from ACC if they suffer an injury during childbirth.

It’s been all hands on deck recently, and unsurprisingly our laser therapy treatment option has been our most popular request by patients.

Meet Mitchell, all round athlete, and king of handstands. ( )

He came to us with a slight ni**le as one would expect with someone as active as him. During this process, he mentioned that he needed to work on the stability and angle of his handstand. With some careful thinking, by combining our knowledge of body mechanics with our sound understanding of how the human body works, we were able to guide him towards straightening his epic handstands.

He put in all the hard work, and the results speak for themselves. We are quite happy with the end result 😃. He very kindly even gave us before and after photos 🙏

Language is everything

Sometimes, when a consultation is rushed, or therapists assuming patients are unable to understand basic anatomy, words are used that don't do anyone any favours

Solution? Don't rush. Explain everything carefully.

The more you know, the better your position to make it better.

What a weekend back on the ice with the New Zealand Ice Blacks. The last time we were with the boys was in 2019 so it was really heartening to get the team back together. Looking forward to continuing working with the team and management in the years ahead
