We’re still buzzing from how much fun Saturday was! Many of our clinic teams came together for the derby game, enjoying great food at the tailgate before watching Auckland FC take on Wellington Phoenix. Thank you, , for a moment we’ll all remember!

This season has been huge for our White Cross and Bettr teams, and we’re thrilled to share a milestone worth celebrating. We’ve officially become the healthcare partner of Auckland FC, as well as the proud sponsor of the AFC ball kids for the season.

Sport plays a powerful role in building healthy communities. Whether you’re cheering from the sidelines or taking part on the field, it connects people, encourages active living, and supports mental wellbeing. That’s why standing alongside a forward-thinking club like Auckland FC feels like such a natural fit for us.

At Tāmaki Health, we believe good health is about more than treating symptoms in the moment. Holistic wellness, prevention, and staying active are central to what we do — and this partnership reflects that vision. Auckland FC brings great energy to the game, and together we aim to encourage participation in sport and support healthier communities across Tāmaki Makaurau.

We’re with Auckland FC every step of the way this season and look forward to the impact we can make both on and off the field

A piece of New Zealand medical history!
Shirley Medical Centre is now officially White Cross Shirley!

Last week, we celebrated this special moment with a blessing from local iwi Ngāi Tahu, and shared good food, smiles, and stories at the clinic.

Did you know? Shirley was New Zealand’s first purpose-built medical centre, opening its doors back in 1969 and setting the standard for modern general practice nationwide. The clinic still operates from its original building today, with incredible long-serving doctors who’ve cared for generations of families.

We’re proud to carry that legacy forward as White Cross Shirley — please join us in welcoming this historic clinic to the White Cross family!

Measles is spreading in Aotearoa. Here’s how to protect yourself and your whānau:

• Check your immunisation status.
If you’ve had two MMR doses, you’re considered protected. If unsure, contact your healthcare provider

• You may be eligible for a free MMR vaccine.
Please check our website for eligibility criteria.

• If you feel unwell, stay home.
Measles is highly contagious, even before symptoms appear.

Know the symptoms:
– Fever
– Runny nose and cough
– Sore or red eyes
– Rash starting on the face and spreading

If you’re worried or unsure, call Healthline: 0800 611 116 for advice.
If you think you’ve been exposed, please call first rather than walking in.

At White Cross, we want to look after our patients and help keep our communities healthy.

White Cross New Brighton is officially open! 🎉

We’re thrilled to welcome White Cross New Brighton to the White Cross whānau. On Tuesday, we were blessed by the local iwi, Ngāi Tahu, marking a meaningful start to this new chapter together.
Formerly New Brighton Health Care, we’ve been caring for our community for over 45 years, and we’re proud to continue that journey under a new name in Ōtautahi (Christchurch). You’ll still find the same trusted GP team, the same local care, and a renewed commitment to supporting our growing community.

This marks our second White Cross clinic in Ōtautahi, following the transformation of White Cross Greers Road earlier in June, and with the Shirley Medical-White Cross Shirley clinic transformation well underway, we couldn’t be happier.

We’re welcoming new patients, so come and see us, or visit Whitecross.co.nz and to enrol online.

Welcome to the White Cross family, New Brighton.

It’s never too late to check in with yourself. Taking care of your mental health doesn’t need to be complicated, sometimes it’s about the small things that keep us steady.

The Five Ways to Wellbeing, connect, take notice, keep learning, give, and be active — are simple actions that remind us to slow down and look after both body and mind.

This lovely message comes from Amanda, one of our health coaches at the New Brighton clinic in Christchurch. At White Cross, our team is here if you need support. Reaching out is a sign of strength, and talking to someone can make all the difference 💙

There are new cases of measles in our community 🤧

Low immunisation rates in Aotearoa means that a measles outbreak is high risk, particularly for unvaccinated people.

Please be alert to any symptoms and call us, or Healthline, if you are concerned. It’s also a timely reminder to check that your whanau’s immunisations are up to date - the measles vaccine is free for most and quick to do, so pop in & see us.

We’re proud to announce that .doctors is one of ’s accredited providers of 24/7 online GP care - a major step forward in making healthcare more accessible for all New Zealanders.
