Halloween Greetings friends! Few Updates:

WEATHER
Hopefully this email finds you well in this wild weather lashing the country again this week. In this wind remember to be prepared for increased risk of power cuts and falling trees/branches so keep your devices charged, have torches and clean water on hand and probably not a good idea to go walking in the woods!

LABOR WEEKEND
With Labour Weekend coming up this weekend just touching base to let you know that the clinic will be CLOSED this Saturday 25th of October and OPEN Monday 27th Of October. If you would like an appointment while you have the day off on Monday booking link is here:

MEGA STRIKE
Also of note coming up this week which might cause a bit of chaos is the mega strike happening on this Thursday 23rd of October. 100,000 teachers, dentists, doctors and nurses are set to strike and it is expected to impact schools, hospitals and other health services across New Zealand so be prepared for traffic and schedules to be a little bit disrupted.

HALLOWEEN
On a positive note I am loving seeing all the spooky festive Halloween decorations and fun activities and parties being planned for Halloween coming up. We are so excited to see all the fun dress ups! Even Obi has a dog Halloween party to go to!

NOVEMBER
Early heads up for the weekends coming up in November the clinic will be OPEN Saturday 1st of November and CLOSED the following weekend from Friday the 7th November to Monday the 10th of November. So if Saturday is your day maybe consider booking a little more in advance than usual for the 1st of November appointments. From Tuesday the 11th of November normal hours will resume.

Thank you so much for all your lovely visits in the last couple of months. With your appointments this week bring a little bag because our kumara patch has been thriving and I'd love you all to try some. Be safe out there, lovely friends!

September Updates!

After a very WINDY couple of weeks in Auckland we hope this finds you well and happy (and with intact powerlines). With the weather being so wild and the end of an exhausting third school term this week I know many of you have been victims of the September sniffles; we are sending healing vibes your way, be kind to yourselves, stay in bed and keep up the lemon/ginger/honey concoctions. I feel it is quite important to mention also that there have been several shocking both national and international events in the last couple of weeks. The main ones that have rocked me a little being the Tom Phillips and Charlie Kirk “stories”. Both absolutely impossible to wrap the head around. An open ear over here if you would like to vent/talk about sensitive subjects that some are really uncomfortable with.
​
This weekend we have our annual New Zealand College of Chiropractic Conference so the clinic will be closed on Saturday 20th September just for this week. Normal hours resume Monday and remember to get your school holiday appointments booked for the next couple of weeks while life is a little less crazy busy for a spell.

Last week our wonderful Lisa at Extend Pilates competed for New Zealand in Las Vegas at the World Masters Weightlifting Championships. She did superbly well landing a 67kg sn**ch (6th place) and an 80kg clean and jerk (10th place). So impressive!!
​
Also an early daylight savings heads up: this year our clocks spring forward on Sunday 28th of September so we can look forward to some quieter peaceful morning time and lighter, vibrant evenings again!
​
