This July, we’re introducing two new support groups at Dove Hospice & Wellness.
These groups offer a safe, supportive space to connect with others in similar circumstances.
🌻 Carers’ Group: for people caring for someone supported by Dove Hospice & Wellness
🌻 Sunflower Group: for younger people (under 50) living with a life-limiting illness
🤍 Living with Bereavement Group: returning this July, with a few spaces still available

Neville Bailey is a creative maker who gives new life to old Singer sewing machines by transforming their parts into unique model vehicles. Using vintage machines bought from Dove Hospice, Neville carefully dismantles and repurposes them to create handcrafted sculptures that resemble classic cars, motorbikes, and other vehicles.

Each piece is individually designed and built by hand, preserving the character and history of the original sewing machine while turning it into something entirely new. Neville’s work celebrates craftsmanship and sustainability.

Grief is something nearly all of us will experience, yet it’s often very difficult to talk about.
It’s also deeply personal. Everyone experiences grief differently, which is why it’s not something you have to “get over”.
From February, we will be offering a Living with Bereavement Group at Dove House for people grieving the death of a loved one due to an incurable disease.
