We merged with White Cross GP clinics in the first quarter of 2022. We have four doctors, all working either full time or 60% of the week minimum. lt has been a slow process but we have enthusiastic staff; we are also still battling the post covid chaos which has been challenging indeed.
The old clinic at Chartwell Ave has been re-purposed as 'Ease Up' by Emerge, providing support services for young people with a variety of socioeconomic challenges.

Community Based Assessment Centres (CBACs) for COVID testing

To address the increasing demand for COVID-19 testing our GP groups are in the process of setting up CBACs across our regions. Five centres will open across the Auckland Metro region, with the first opening this Saturday, 21 March, with more opening at a later date.

Initially these centres will open daily from 8am-4pm with extended hours when resourcing makes this possible. These have been set up to operate as swabbing centres to help alleviate the pressure on our practices as demand grows for assessment services.

PATIENT ACCESS

Access to the CBAC will be by referral from Healthline or GP only. Current case definition still applies for all referrals.
