We offer Chinese acupuncture and herbal medicine in Auckland for customers of any age and gender. Moxibustion, cupping, electro-acupuncture, nutrition and herbs are all part of the treatments we use to help get you back to health. Acupuncture works by releasing muscle spasms that can irritate nerves and cause aches and pains. It also aids the body`s natural healing process by encouraging blood flow and rebalancing energy in localised areas. Moxibustion, cupping, electrotherapy and massage may be used to aid in your treatment, and we may also discuss your diet, relationships and physical activity habits to help you focus on your health and wellbeing. Angelique Kingsley-Smith is the head of our clinic and offers Chinese acupuncture to residents of Grey Lynn, West Auckland and beyond. She has a Bachelor of Health Science with a degree in Chinese Medicine and a Diploma in Nursing (NZRN), and is a member of the NZ Register of Acupuncturists and an ACC provider. Angelique believes that the acupuncture is a way of life-it doesn`t work miracles or cure illness through mystical means, but rather helps people tap into mind, body and emotion. My own health and fertility struggles (after my first child was born with disabilities) pushed me to explore alternative healing. Acupuncture made such a difference in my life that I decided to study it myself. Now, with over 20 years in practice, I blend my medical background with the wisdom of Chinese Medicine to support others on their fertility, pregnancy and health journeys.
