💧 Hydration Matters as We Age 💧

As we get older, our bodies don’t hold onto water as well — which means dehydration can happen more easily. In fact, up to 40% of adults over 65 experience chronic dehydration, which can lead to fatigue, confusion, and even serious health issues like infections.

✨ Make water more exciting:
If plain water feels a bit boring, try freezing fruit, herbs, or even coconut water into ice cubes. Pop them into your glass for a gentle, refreshing burst of flavour as they melt.

As the festive season approaches, here’s a quick update on our Christmas hours:
✨ All Miranda Smith Homecare offices across New Zealand will close at 4pm on Monday, December 22nd, and reopen at 9am on Monday, 12th January.

Our office team is looking forward to a well-deserved break, but rest assured, we’re still here to support you if needed!
📞 For urgent assistance during this time, call 0800 11 20 10.

If you have care scheduled over this period, your carer will be there as planned. Should any urgent issues arise, our 0800 number is available to help.
