🎄✨ What a magical morning at Kenderdine Park! ✨🎄

We were absolutely delighted to welcome Holy Cross School Papatoetoe 's Mr T and his amazing group of Year 6 and 7 girls (and a bonus Year 6 boy!) who filled our halls with the most beautiful Christmas carols 🎶🎅. Their voices brought so much joy and festive cheer to our residents!

Not only did they sing their hearts out, but they also delivered some lovely goodies 🍪🎁 to our residents — including those who couldn’t make it to join us. What a thoughtful gesture! 💖

In return, we were thrilled to gift adorable teddy bears 🧸 dressed in hand-knitted outfits by our very own Heather 🧶✨. Our residents’ smiles said it all — pure happiness and holiday spirit all around! 😄💞

A huge thank you to Mr T and his wonderful students for spreading so much joy and festive magic 🎄❤️! You made this Christmas season extra special! 🌟

🎉 Celebrating 30 Years of Care 🎉

Today marks 30 years of service as a proud family-owned aged care facility!

Over the years, we’ve had the honour of supporting more than 500 families, growing from a small and leisurely rest home into a busy private hospital, providing complex long-term medical support and palliative care services as our community’s needs have evolved.

It has truly been our privilege to care for so many wonderful residents and to walk alongside their families. We’re equally grateful for our incredible team—many of whom have been with us for decades. Their compassion is the heart of everything we do.

Today, we’re marking the occasion in a simple but special way—with some decorations, live music, and cake for our residents, and a relaxed celebration for our staff this evening. We’re quietly excited to take a moment to appreciate how far we’ve come and the people who’ve made it possible.

Here’s to 30 years of care, growth, and community—and to many more ahead. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing team for making this Diwali extra special at our home.
A delicious Diwali and Fiji Independence Day feast was a true highlight for KP last week – special thanks to Ruby and Jasma for preparing such a beautiful spread that was enjoyed by all.
A big thank you to also to Rosy for the stunning decorations that brought so much colour and festive spirit to our space!

It’s moments like these that remind us how lucky we are to have such a caring and dedicated team.

Colourful & interactive cuteness from some lovely visiting relatives and friends of our very creative resident, Phyllis.

Thank you ladies so much for these delightful teddy bears in their adorable handknitted outfits AND handmade fidget blankets.

We have given these creations to our keenest residents and they really do brighten their days and spaces! How innovative! ☺️🧸💛🧡🩷💚🩵

In 102 years, Audrey must have seen, heard, and learned so much — what a long life of wisdom, stories, and delicious cake - like this one we all shared. 🤭💕🎂🥳🌟

An excellent field trip to the Papatoetoe Historical Society Museum! Our residents loved seeing things they haven't seen in a long time. Pictures, goods, & equipment that reminded them of their childhoods, & connected them to memories they thought were long forgotten. I loved seeing their smiles & faces full of nostalgia. 🖼🚂👒🏺

The staff at the museum were so helpful & hospitable and Kenderdine Park is very grateful this special museum is just around the corner. 🚐🔆♥️
