Tamaki Hands

Tamaki Hands Hand Therapy: Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with advanced skills in assessment & rehab of elbow, forearm, wrist & hand injuries and conditions.

We are a team of Hand Therapists: this means we are New Zealand Registered Physiotherapists & Occupational Therapists with advanced skills in assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow. Your hands are important & unique: regardless of age, culture, ethnicity, gender, role, or wealth. If you have an injury or condition affecting these areas, it may be difficult for you to use your hand for your usual activities. Let us help you get the best outcome and back to doing what you enjoy. Donโ€™t wait until it โ€˜might get betterโ€™. Book an appointment. No referral required. We are conveniently located in Sylvia Park Shopping Mall and are ACC approved.

At our Christmas team gathering we have an annual round-up, here's a snapshot of what we celebrated in 2025:

๐Ÿ‘ŒWe welcomed Steph's returned from paternal leave
๐Ÿ‘ŒSuccessful clinic audit completed
๐Ÿ‘ŒGerald joined our team and went on to complete the post-graduate hand and upper limb paper
๐Ÿ‘ŒSuccessful annual survey with great positive feedback from our patients
๐Ÿ‘ŒHelen became a Registered Hand Therapist, a great achievement requiring many years of academic and clinical study
๐Ÿ‘ŒTrisha, our new receptionist arrived last month and is already handling the front desk admin like a pro.

Thank you to all our patients who trusted us with their rehab. Wishing you all a safe and stress-free ๐Ÿ˜† lead up to summer celebrations.

Gerald is now back to his studies for 2025, building on his knowledge and expertise with the AUT post-grad training in hand therapy, and the experienced team at Tamaki Hands๐Ÿ˜Ž. Great to have you onboard Gerald ๐Ÿ‘Œ.
