“ It’s a decade since Simon Fung and I finished our residency at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. Today, it’s my privilege and honour that my former co-resident — now a respected surgeon and associate professor at UCSF in 🇺🇸 has flown all the way to New Zealand to have his implantable contact lens (ICL) surgery with me and the team at .vision_nz .
I can still vividly remember Simon wearing his glasses during training; and today, watching him finally be free of them feels like a full-circle moment I’ll never forget.”
