✨ Sharing from Barbara ✨
Barbara is not only a homeopath but also a trained pharmacist. With her medical background, she really knows her stuff, and I think she explains the topic of paracetamol/trenyol very clearly.
Please take a moment to read her post and make up your own mind 💛

Everyone is talking paracetamol, after USA President Trump made a statement that paracetamol in pregnancy increases autism risk.
It has freaked a lot of people out, and I want to discuss more about this.
First of all, paracetamol is metabolised in the liver, and requires glutathione to detox it. Glutathione is one of our important antioxidants and is needed to detox many toxins. So when there is not enough glutathione, we are much more at risk of negative consequences from toxins, and there can be consequences physically and neurodevelopmentally.
We also live in a world where there are many chemicals and exposures every day, and these can have an additive effect. If you don’t have the ability to detox from them, they can accumulate and add to those physical and neurological effects.
Then there is our genetic predisposition. Some people already have low glutathione levels, and difficulty with metabolising chemicals and toxins - these people will be more at risk.
When we add these together - genetic predisposition, exposure to chemicals and toxins, and paracetamol which depletes glutathione further, then there is a higher risk of autism or other neurological conditions. This is why some people do have regressive reactions to vaccination.
There is another elephant in the room though, that is polarising for those with neurodivergence. That is whether autism and ADHD and other neurodivergence is pathological and ‘caused’ by these things and can be ‘cured’, or whether it is normal and natural and how they are. IMO, both can be right.
There have always been people who are ‘different’ and now would fit on one of these spectrums - so people who live a low tox lifestyle, avoiding medications, and eating whole foods can still have neurodiversity. However, there is definitely neurodiversity associated with chemicals, toxins, heavy metals and inadequate nutrients and antioxidants like glutathione, and a biomedical and integrative approach can be helpful.
Let’s go back to paracetamol though. If you want to avoid it, there are other options.
Homeopathy is a really good option for dealing with pain - but it needs to be specific. We want to know what the pain feels like specifically, and what makes it better or worse. Here are a few remedies, but it is absolutely impossible to list them all - either consider the specific condition or make an appointment for a personal individual remedy.
Bryonia is a remedy for stitching and tearing pains. They are worse for the least movement, better for pressure and rest.
Rhus Tox is a remedy for tearing pains and stiffness. They are worse for rest and first movement, and better for movement and heat.
Hypericum is a remedy for shooting nerve pains, and can be excessively painful. It’s particularly useful for areas rich in nerves like fingers and toes.
Chamomilla is for pain that is out of proportion, like an excessively painful stitching earache.
Nux Vomica has spasmodic and cramping pains, that are better for heat and rest.
There are other ways of dealing with pain. Hands-on therapies may be useful, like Bowen therapy, Chiropractic, Cranial-sacral therapy or Osteopathy. Naturopaths will have herbal options for pain relief as well.
If you want to treat fever, homeopathy is also a great option and preferable to paracetamol. You can read more about it here: https://www.homeopathbarbara.nz/paracetamol-and-fever/
