Yes, but form is the focus. Correct technique and control, with progressive loading is imperative.
Kettle bells are effective tools for building glute strength, promoting new tendon growth and healing, with an increase of joint stability.

🙂I love this training aid. There are so many ways to use a balance board, not just for increasing better balance.

🙂It is fantastic for a stretch around the hip region, great for a stretch of the lower back and up and around the shoulder region.
🙂We can move the arms further or closer, straighten the arms, lean further back, there is so much we can do, we can even work the core and stretch the glute.

😒A common issue as people age - weak wrists.
Strengthening our wrists as we age, try hand weight Wrist Flexion.

💪🏼Flex your wrist up, palm to the ceiling and hold the position for two or three seconds, then lower your hand.
💪🏼Repeat again, doing two sets of 8 repetitions.

🙂Pay attention to your discomfort and adjust workouts accordingly. It is not necessarily best to use a heavier weight, or do too many repetitions.

A great way to mobilise your shoulders, work your back and strengthen your fingers and wrists, which we all need as we age.

Hold onto a Swiss Ball or heavier, smaller weighted ball, holding the ball with the tips of your fingers, wrists straight.

Move the ball up and around going from side to side.
