Most of the time, we're on autopilot. Our Default Mode Network loops thoughts, runs habits, and keeps us moving, but we're not fully present.
Autopilot isn't bad. It saves energy and keeps routines running. However, when it becomes your default, you may find yourself reacting instead of responding, feeling disconnected, or missing what's truly going on inside you.
Mindfulness activates different brain networks, enabling you to notice, feel, and make informed choices. It's not about being "on" all the time. It's about having the ability to shift when autopilot isn't serving you.
Insight Focused NeuroTherapy (IFnT™) teaches research-backed tools to build attention, awareness, and the neuroplastic changes that make mindfulness sustainable, not just a fleeting practice.
Join our Introduction to IFnT™ workshops in 2026 to learn practical ways to guide yourself (and your clients) from autopilot to awareness.
