The second element of our new logo:

Awa — the river flowing through our region

Stretching from the west coast to the Firth of Thames, our hospice region includes the Waikato River flowing through its heart.

A symbol of life and continuity, the river reflects the journey of hospice care — supporting whānau to live fully, with strength and dignity.

New Year. New Look. New Name.

Whenua — the land of Franklin

Rooted in community. Grounded in care.

This first element of our new logo represents the land of Franklin — the foundation of our identity. It speaks to our roots, our connection to place, and the role this whenua plays in shaping the community we serve.

New Year. New Look. New Name.

Exciting changes are underway!

Franklin Hospice is refreshing its look, and we are now officially Franklin Community Hospice — a name that reflects our connection to the people and whānau we care for across the community.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be revealing pieces of our new logo — each one telling part of our story.

Same Purpose. Compassionate hospice care — still here & still local.

🎄 A little festive reminder from Franklin Hospice 💛

If you’re popping into Farmers Pukekohe, why not take a moment to support their Christmas fundraiser for Franklin Hospice? It runs until close of business on Christmas Eve.

✨ You could pick up a limited-edition bauble ($15.99) to brighten your tree and help local families.
🌲Or leave a message on the Tree of Remembrance — a small donation lets you write a tribute to someone special.

Every little gesture helps, and we’re so grateful for your support this festive season! 💛
