It is with deep love and sadness that we share the passing of our beloved whāea, Shirley Hakaraia. Mum passed away peacefully, surrounded by whānau. Shirley will go to Te Rāwhiti Marae on Wednesday the 4th of March and her nehu will be Friday the 6th March at Tangitū urupā, Orokawa.

We are heartbroken, but deeply grateful for the time and love we shared with her.

Bereavement pānui on behalf of the Te Tuhi whānau regarding the passing of their beloved Rua Eruera Te Tuhi, who passed away on Thursday 26th February 2026. The whānau will be making their journey today back to Te Tuhi Road, Aratapu (Homestead) He will then be taken to Ōtūrei Marae where he will remain until Tuesday 3rd March. Whakamoemiti at 10am, Hakari at 11am and departing 12:30pm to Maunu Cemetery for cremation at 2:30pm.

Please be aware that there will be no alcohol or drugs during the process of tangihanga.

Ngā Kawenga | Responsibilities:

• Transportation of tūpāpaku from Mortuary, Hospitals, Coroners and other locations
• Preparation and care of caskets
• Fleet maintenance and coordination with external suppliers
• Preparation of service booklets, tributes, presentations and media materials
• General awhi and tautoko of our kaimahi
• Care and maintenance of our whare
• Stocktakes, ordering and purchasing
• Cleaning, set-up and pack-down as required
• Fortnightly after-hours (after 5pm) and weekend on-call roster

✔️ Ngā Pūkenga | What You Will Bring:

• Full driver’s license (or transitioning from restricted)
• High level of professionalism and personal presentation
• Competency in Microsoft Office (Email, Word, Excel)
• Ability to travel between Haven Falls sites
• Strong time management and communication skills
• A respectful, calm and compassionate presence

🕰 Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
(Flexibility is required due to the nature of our mahi. Alternate weeks/weekends on-call.)

Bereavement notice on behalf of the Brockie whānau, following the passing of their dearly loved partner, father, step-father, brother, uncle, cousin, and treasured friend, Gerard Brockie, on 21 February 2026.

Gerard is currently in our care, and funeral proceedings are set as below;
