Mt Eden Foot Clinic

Mt Eden Foot Clinic We are experienced in all forms of podiatry care; corns, callouses, ingrowing toenails, orthotics We have been based in Mt Eden Village for over 30 years.

Our main podiatrist, Judy, has been joined in the last 7 years by Lynda Bardell, another podiatrist with over 30 years of experience. We are members of Podiatry New Zealand, our professional body that was created to advance the quality and access to podiatry (https://www.podiatry.org.nz). We offer a caring, friendly service covering all aspects of Podiatric care. Our main client base are returning patients who come regularly for foot maintenance - nail cutting, debriding and thinning, prevention of ingrowing toenails and corn and callous removal. If the problem ingrowing toenail can’t be helped conservatively, we can remove the offending section of nail using a local anaesthetic and apply a caustic chemical to help prevent it regrowing. Biomechanical issues are something that we deal with on a regular basis too. This involves assessing how the foot functions and analyzing gait. If we do find an anomaly, this can be corrected or accommodated for with orthotic therapy. These are insoles that are adjusted specifically for your needs.

Featuring works by Nicholas Hayter.

Nicholas Hayter was born in Hawke's Bay and grew up in an artistic family that encouraged creativity. Nick has been painting in his preferred medium of oils for fourteen years and has pursued a full-time career in art for the past ten years.

We met Nick in his gorgeous garden studio in Napier and fell in love with his work. His thickly textured oil paintings are simply stunning and his beach scenes take us there, sitting on the hot sand enjoying the summer breeze. Gorgeous pieces full of texture and light.
