To acknowledge World Hearing Day's theme this year: From communities to classrooms: hearing care for all children. ๐ง๐ง
90 million children and adolescents worldwide are living with hearing loss. Most don't know it. Many won't be diagnosed for years.
The causes are often surprisingly common โ ear infections, fluid behind the eardrum, even impacted earwax. These are preventable and treatable conditions, yet they frequently go undetected, quietly affecting a child's speech, language, learning, and social development. Left unaddressed, the ripple effects can follow a child into adulthood โ impacting their education, employment, and quality of life.
The good news? Early detection changes everything.
If you have any concerns about your child's hearing, don't wait for the next awareness day. Reach out to us โ we'd love to help ๐
