Wombtime

Wombtime We educate and teach tools so that all expecting parents have the knowledge to optimize the physical, mental and emotional development of their baby.

The time from conception to two years of age are most crucial for human development. I was always curious about human development and why even identical twins were in many ways so different. My personal history and strong desire to find answers to these questions led me to study individual and social psychology, Transforming Therapy, clinical Hypnotherapy and later Secure Attachment. It all began in the womb. Although we follow a genetic blueprint it is the womb environment that really begins to shape us. (Epigenetic)
Not only a body and brain gets developed but also a sense of self. The unborn baby learns through the mother about the world it will soon be born into; For example, if the environment was perceived by mum as being stressful, overwhelming and scary, the structure of the baby’s brain and temperament would develop accordingly. This might show up later as the baby/adult being easily overwhelmed, less resilient and more anxious. This does not mean that it was all up to mum. The dad, the wider family, even work all play a role in creating the environment. The Womb Time ® program was designed to create better outcomes for every new life and emerging family. We know today that if we get it right in the first 1000 days we have the best chance to get it right for life and this is why we offer Prenatal Bonding and Secure Attachment education to cover this crucial period. (APPPAH)
We teach simple and effective tools that will optimize the physical, mental and emotional development of your unborn child and help you in your transition into parenthood. We also offer additional therapies to aid you to transform some of your own limiting ideas/triggers so that you can be a great parent to your child. Parenting begins in the womb and well nurtured babies are a blessing to this world and they will grow into the heroes of tomorrow.

Prolonged crying without comfort can overstimulate a baby’s stress response system, flooding their body with cortisol and adrenaline. According to the Institute for the Study of Children, Family and Social Issues, this can interfere with brain growth and the formation of healthy neural connections during critical early stages. When stress hormones remain elevated, they may alter the development of the limbic system—the part of the brain that regulates emotion and attachment. Over time, these changes can contribute to anxiety, difficulty with trust, and emotional regulation issues later in life. Responding to a baby’s cries with care and reassurance supports both neurological development and long-term emotional health.

Our Story

I was always curious to find out why people felt the way they did; Behaved and reacted the way they did and what made them who they were? My personal history and strong desire to find answers to these questions led me to study individual and social psychology, Transforming Therapy, clinical Hypnotherapy and later Secure Attachment.

It all began in the womb.
