We were excited to hear reports of Santa-sightings in the neighborhood, but sad to see the famous Howick Santa parade postponed.

The Times reported that the jolly man in the bright red suit travelled to Howick from his home at the North Pole to announce while he’ll make his normal Christmas Day deliveries to local children, due to the Covid-19 pandemic this year’s Howick Santa Parade is being postponed to 2022.

It is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and donations can be made to The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation. But this month is not just a time to raise funds it is a time to raise awareness of this health issue that affects one in nine kiwi women. 🎀

It is essential to get regular checks and having a mammogram is easy! Women aged between 45 to 69 years are eligible for free screening and should get checked every two years. If that is you, don't put it off! When was the last time you, or someone you loved got checked?
