🔥 Early mornings just got a whole lot better for your Doggy — we’ve got crew on standby to support sunrise beach wanders and brisk park missions across the Bay.

They say in the running community: “If it’s not on Strava… it didn’t happen.”
Well, every Cigana dog outing gets logged — distance, pace and just how fun the adventure was.

Most missions land around 4km, with a mix of walking, jogging and stick-chasing intervals to make sure your dog burns every ounce of morning energy and comes home buzzing.

With the Christmas season approaching fast, we’ve still got a few golden gaps through the week.
If you’re after early morning walks with our team, now’s the moment — plenty of epic missions still up for grabs.

As Cigana Pet Co grows, we’ve kept one thing at the heart of it all — community.

We’re extending our lead a little further across the Eastern Bays, but our real mission is about something bigger… keeping tails wagging and supporting the people behind every local business that makes pet care possible.

🐶 Reach out to a local walker in your area — their start-up dreams are built one leash at a time.
🛍️ Find and support the smaller, independent pet stores where every product is chosen with care.
🐕‍🦺 Keep visiting your local vet — they’re the heart of the circular pet economy that keeps our animals healthy and happy.

We’ve been humbled to see this come full circle — after helping grow awareness of Louis and Phoebe pet boutique in our cafe they reached out to ask how they could help us grow. That’s the kind of community connection we’re proud to be part of.

Here’s to building a network of local love, one pawprint at a time. ❤️

You might notice a new name around here — we’re gently rebranding into Cigana Pet Co, a local pet wellbeing and lifestyle hub born from the same community spirit that’s been with us since 1999. 💛

Our focus is simple — to celebrate and support the people and small businesses that keep pets across New Zealand happy and healthy.

🦴 NZ-made pet food brands that create local jobs and craft goodness with care.
🐕 Small local pet shops — often family-run, offering personal advice and heartfelt service.
🚶‍♂️ Independent dog walkers bringing positive movement for dogs and humans alike.
🐾 Neighbourhood vet clinics where care, compassion, and profits stay in the community.

We’re here to connect, support, and share stories from this wonderful local pet community — one that values people, pets, and place equally.

Big change, same heart 🐾

We’re gently moving from Kilo NZ to something closer to our hearts: a caring, fun, and nurturing space for dog walking, pet care, and all things pets. And honestly, this is just the start of an exciting season ahead.

We’ve got collaborations in the works—supporting local pet stores, makers of bespoke pet food, designers of car accessories for safe pet travel—and this is only the beginning.

Why such a huge shift, you might ask?

Back in 2013, we set out to shift the needle on WholeFoods—disrupting pricing, service, and access to the most remote corners of New Zealand. Now, we’re bringing that same energy and care to the world of pets.

If you’ve been with us a long time and feel this isn’t your journey, we absolutely understand. But if you’re curious to see what comes next, we’d love for you to stick around.
